So if we find that they purchased the debt, then they are still the CA and they fall under the FDCPA, right? So if they can't prove that they own the debt, then it could be vacated, right? I'm trying to figure out (I live in MI) and all judgements against us (two against me, one against hubby) already say vacated! So do we not have to worry about them?
