This lawsuit is about a repoed car that was sold in an auction and Ford is suing us for 11k (balance on contract)I am in Miami, Florida.
I think I will go to the court house were the suit was filed to read all the documents, but if I am going to say that I was not properly served, and I show up there it can mess up everything.
Anyways, The case will go on default judgment if I don't go. I need to know what's going on.
The summons was stamped with a date of service, but I saw my ex-landlord in a grocery store like a month after that date, and he told me about the documents and fax them to me next day.
What do you suggest?
At this point, I don't know were my ex-husband is, or his telephone number, so I don't know waht action he took.
