When you go to the courthouse, you will be looking at the file which has all the original documents that were filed in the case. They don't usually ask for identification, but if you are concerned, take someone with you and have them request the file.

Among the documents you will find in the file are:

copy of the summons showing where it was served and to whom. That should give you the address that you are missing.

It will also show where the summons went that was issued for you. If you were not properly served, you may be able to get yourself taken off the lawsuit. Of course, they have the option to refile unless it is dismissed with prejudice.

If you were properly served, you would be receiving copies of all papers that are filed in this case by the opposing side. Note that you would not receive copies of documents filed by your ex husband. You can, however, look at everything at the courthouse.

I'll do some checking with my legal contacts and see what your best option is since it appears that you were never served in this lawsuit.
