After applying for a mortage and being suprisingly rejected, I recently looked at my credit report which to my surprise is horrible. To make a long story short my sister had opened up 9 different accounts in my name from credit cards to cell phones to her house phone and hasn't paid a dime for some of them or had completely stopped paying which of course has ruined my credit. All of them are either in collections or charged-off. The accounts that I opened two student loans, one credit card and car loan are all in good standing; I've Never once been late on any of MY debts. The thing is I wouldn't mind throwing her in jail for fraud except for the fact that she has a very very sick child who needs a heart transplant so his future is uncertain and I want him to have the best possible life with his family. so what if anything can I do. I wanted to buy my house this year but it has been IMPOSSIBLE with my fico score. I'm at the end of my rope.
