citibank/ IC systems trouble/sue

I owe Citibank 5K and have not been able to pay. They sent my debt to a I.C. Systems of St.Paul, MN. I called about 5 months ago and made an arangement to pay $25 a month until my situation got better. The person was "friendly" and told me this would keep any interest from accumulating. All of a sudden I get calls from them demanding the full balance and when I ask if the monthly payment is keeping the interest from occuring which they said it would, they refuse to answer and keep demanding the full balance. Has anyone had experience with IC System or Citibank and what can I expect Citibank to do? At what point does Citibank sue and where can I find info on what to do if they sue. thanks
