I have a question. I had an MBNA Visa. They all of a sudden back in 1995 stopped sending me bills. So I was young and stupid at the time and I thought they wanted to give me these things for free. So I didn't pay attention to that. So then in 1999 a collection agency (NCO) calls me and I made a payment arrangement with NCO. HUGE MISTAKE!!! So now NCO is withdrawing money from my bank account. So they had told me that if there ever was a time when the money wasn't going to be there to let them know and they would stop the process until the date I told them that the funds would be there. Well they did not keep up their end of the agreement. Even if I called them to stop the collection of funds until another date they would still try and for every time they tried my bank was charging me $30 so I would end up paying $100 to NCO plus $30 to my bank. So after 14 months of this nonsense I closed the account. I just checked my credit report and this particular account is scheduled to be removed from my credit report this December. So what happens after that?
