I was out of work last year due to layoffs for the most part and last summer had three charged off accounts. I will be done with all three by June this year but I know this damaged my credit report. Is there any way for me to get out of this being on my report earlier? Or will I just have to wait 7 years and be able to do nothing about it? I have a couple of other accounts that are in good standing like car, and a credit card, etc. But, how long will my score be so low, how can i bring it up within a year? Anything?
