If an oc sells your acct. to another, say Alegis group, who has sent papers saying they have bought this from the oc, and then they hire an atty to collect. who do you ask for validation from? If i ignore the requests for payment, in all likelyhood they will sue. Once they sue and a judgement is issued, is that the time to negotiate for settlement, and with whom do you negotiate??? I live in Fl. have a 1,2,and 3 mort. both cars are financed, and wages are not garnishable because i contribute 1/2 to support as hoh. What else can they get..Is it better to try to negotiate before a Judgement or after a judgement and some time has passed..if i do settle what should a person al ask for to be done in the negotiating process......thanks
