Any problem appying for a credit card while buying home?

My credit score is pretty good. I would like to get an airline mileage credit card for extra mileage. I am thinking buying a home in next 3-6 months.. I am not sure howmuch my credit score would be affected. I don't have any debt and I have only one credit card.. What do you all think?
