Please also be advised that this letter is not only a formal dispute, but a request that you cease and desist any and all collection activities. is it okay to take the above statement out of the validation letter - "Cease & Desist" means do not contact me correct? I would rather they contact me if they will be taking me to court. or is it better to leave this statement in the letter? ladybug, NY
