Just provide the "debtor" with a copy of the check that supposedly bounced? Wouldn't that save a lot of headaches? And why the threats to have someone arrested at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, when they're false and a downright lie? I'm more than happy to pay bills that I owe . . . but when my wife gets a call for some bounced check from four years ago, gets called names, gets threatened with jail, and then when I follow up and am told that they won't send me any proof because they don't have to . . . Well, they can byte me.
