Gee, are you from Gulf State? People, calling does not protect your rights. In Reply to: Re: Gulf State Credit posted by Jeff White on November 27, 2000 at 10:44:12: Please submit a complaint to the FTC using the following link:

I have been fighting this company to no avail for over 7 years. Please everyone, like the saying goes, "enough hors d'ourves make a meal", perhaps enough complaints will warrant an investigation. Thank you! : : Hey, I justed called the customer service phone # (800) 659-7641 and spoke to a Michelle Williams who may I say was very helpful and willing to work with me which was a surprise maybe you should try calling.
: I called and spoke with 3 people. The 1st guy was a complete idiot, but still friendly. By the time, I got to the 3rd woman, she did help me out and tell me what my options were. I do know the company that reported me to Gulf. It was Sprint, an account I paid--I had the account 3 years ago. I called Sprint for a copy of a bill/statement stating my last payment. They said that they could send me nothing. So, I am requesting from Gulf a copy of documentation for this.
