Mistaken electronic transfer~What's Statute time frame?

I've got the feeling I'm close to finding an answer via http://www.cardreport.com/laws/regj.html, but it's not in enough layman's terms (even for an old electrical engineer )

1. What is the time frame for a company to find out that it has deposited funds into the wrong bank account?
-Any links to particular info'd be > great!

2. Are there any difference in an Ohio to Ohio transfer?
2b. & are there any differences in how it would be handled to Indiana or Kentucky (from Ohio)?
