How to get around Check Systems? (Chicago area)

Hello all.

I was having a dispute with the bank about fees that they overcharge me. They tell me I must either pay the fees or I must go to another bank which does not use Check Systems. Does anyone know of any bank in the Chicago area which does not use Check Systems. Thank you very much.
