Are you referring to regular credit bureau dispute
letters? Or some kind of agreement with a creditor
or collection agency?

Note that, in the second case, it is probably more
likely to have a situation where the creditor or
collector simply agrees to *not confirm* your future
disputes. It looks bad for them to repeatedly
request that the bureaus actually delete items, and
may possibly be a violation of their bureau
reporting contract.
