I've been repairing my credit for about a year now,i've removed a citibank visa old account from all 3 credit bureaus,this was opened 9/94,just last month i got a letter from acollection company talking about i owe 2000,the limit was 600,I ignored the 2 letters,then recently a lady dropped off some summons at my house,my fiancee was home,i was at work,should i try to settle,we're planning on buying a house in march,will the statues of limitations help me at all?Can they verify its mine,since i deleted this last year from my credit reports?please help
