Original Creditor

I received my credit report and disputed an account that was actually the original creditor (never went to collections for some reason).

I then received a letter from the OC that stated they needed a disputed letter so that could investigate the inquiry from Experian.

The very next day I received a letter from Experian stated that the account will remain the same.

Shall I use the dispute letter for a collection agency for the original creditor?

Any help would be appreciated.
