This is getting interesting - I need advice...

Turns out that the Insurance company received the orignal claim from the hospital but it could not be processed because the hospital entered some of the information incorrectly. So, it was the very people who are trying to screw me who have actually caused this whole mess. Anyway, the insurance company contacted the hospital and the hospital sent them to the attorney but the attorney won't talk to the insurance people because of privacy mish mash. I was on the 3 way call and the attorney's office displayed some real attitude. The insurance co. is processing the claim as we speak but how do I prevent this from landing on our credit??? My head is swimming with all of this.
