Nco is not to be trust no. If they offer you this letter make sure you have it BEFORE you make a payment. At 180 they must by law charge the account off. Of course, they are a CA so they would just turn around and collect on it anyway so no biggie there. IT would be nice to not have a chargeoff though. I would ask for deletion or a notation of paid as agreed. A settlement will kill your score.
