They sure can tear your credit apart. Lendes do A/R's and if they see you've not paid one creditor, expect to see your interest rates raised and, your credit lines cut.
If you default, at the 180 day mark, they'll chargeoff the account and send it to 3rd party collections.
NO way would I let $700 ruin my credit. What are the issues with the charge? Prehaps we can help.
