We had a phone call from a guy at AMO Recoveries just a few days after I received 3 phone calls from him in just a matter of minutes. Because my husband answered the phone and asked for me, my husband asked who it was and he refused to say, my husband said that he was not going to talk to me until he told him who he was. Words got ugly. The guy hung up. A minute later he called back and this time my husband was ready and had the recorder going when he answered the phone, we have this guy telling my husband it was none of his business who this was and that he could only speak with me. Things got ugly again the ca hung up, again. The third time, a minute later, he called back and wanted to speak with me, ( with the recorder going) I finally got on the phone and asked who he was and who he was with, he still refused to answer and said some not nice things to me about my husband. He hung up again. We took a shot in the dark and called AMO Recoveries and confronted them with this and all they were concerned about was the bill that we have no idea where this is from. I sent a validation letter on April 15, 2003, and still have not heard from them. What recourse do we have against them? Who do we contact about their behavior? Has any one else had an experience like this with them. They are in Georgia. And I live in Missouri.
