The Cadie collection agency may claim to have your account, but they are LIARS. If you have a recorded judgment against you from Discover Card, it certainly was NOT filed by those bottom feeding scumbags. E-mail me your County, and I will tell you how to look up your judgment. What does your credit report show as to WHOM filed the judgment? Is it against you or aginst your husband, or both?
I doubt it is against your husband, as he would have had his wages garnished. They cannot seize your home if it is jointly owned and only one of you is on the judgment. File a complaint against the CA with the FTC and the Mo Attorney General's office for harrassment and false threats. Since you already HAVE the judgment, you would be foolish to pay these scum a ¢, as they cannot release it.
