I had an MBNA credit card and stoped paying it. I just got a phone call from the Law firm of Wolpoff and Abramson and left a message with a file no. I called back the the person in charge of that file no. was very mean to me. She told me that I owed $.$$ and that I needed to pay in full. I told her that I needed to get more information and she said that what other information I needed only that I owed them. She told me that I hanged up on her she would put my file in the refused to pay file. I told her that I would call her back in five minutes and she hanged up on me. She also asked how much I had at this moment. I called back several times until she aswered the phone and told her that I was not refusing to pay but wanted to see what my options were. She asked where I worked and what did I do for a living. I am a graduate student , therefore low income. she also asked how ofter did I get paid, I told her every two months. She gave the option of paying a portion of the total and then give payments. the other option was a full payment with a discount.
Can you please give me some advice.
thank you,
