I have inside information on CAMCO I work for a CA that is collecting on CAMCO acct's CAMCO is currently running a massive Out of statute campaign. Somethings that you need to remember. ALL CA's have to abide by the FDCPA. if they cannot provide proof of the debt, they must cancel and no longer collect on said debt. They CANNOT THREATEN to take action unless they may legally take such actions. A general rule for a collector is "don't threaten unless you intend to follow through" An account that is out of statute CAN be collected on. It cannot be enfored through legal means ie. Credit reporting agencies, Lawsuits. Don't sweat an out of statute account.
