One of the things I wanted to know for certain by validating the debt was the last activity date. According to the CA, the debt was charged off by the OC in April of 1998 (SOL in Connecticut is 6 years), but I'm not sure how long before that it had been delinquent. I have been through this process before with two other CA's for this debt...neither could validate and both were deleted.
