Inaccurate info on CR-WhyChat Scott LadynRed

Just received CR from Experian. Was shocked to find out the amount of incorrect info on it concerning the come-off-dates of some of my charged-off accounts. One OC has the date longer than it should be while the CA who purchased the acct. has it stated correctly. Also, an acct. sold by another OC to a CA (First Select/Providan Bank), the CA has the come-off-date reported to CRA for five years longer than it should be!This same CA than sold the acct. to another CA (who still owns the acct) who then reported the come-off-date of acct. to CRA correctly. Also, another charged-off acct. that was sold to a CA and that I paid off to this CA, hasn't not been reported by them as having been settled. Instead, they have it as still outstanding plus have made the come-off-date for a year longer than it should be. I can prove the validity of my claims because I have kept separate files on all these accts. from the time they were first opened with the OC's. I have the monthly statements which show when the 1st delinquency occurred and how many months past due the accounts were back about three years ago. I am under the impression that these CA's who purchased these charged-off accts. have to use the come-off-dates of the OC when reporting these accts to the CRA. Is this correct? Is the CA making the come-off-dates longer than they should be, a violation of any Fair Practice Act? If so, which one(s) and who would I report this to? Thank you for your help.
