I thought that the OC had to report accounts at 180 days in order for them to be considered a charge-off. Since I am in possesion of the original statements that show when the 180 days was up and the OC did take a charge-off on this acct., but it was much later than 180 days (more like a year), I don't see how the OC could dispute my proof against theirs for the come-off-date on my CR. Also, on my CR was listed the OC and the CA who bought a charge-off acct. from the OC, and their come-off-dates are different, in this case, the CA's being like 5 years longer than the OC's. What can I do in both these situations? Is the OC or CA in violation of the Fair Credit Practice Act in either of these cases?
