Exact SOL day in TX

As I understand it, the Texas SOL is four years from last activity. Last activity was a check mailed by me. So would it be the day I signed the check or what? Could there be a grace period from the last activity date for a collector to file against me? I qualified for BK four years ago but really couldn't afford it. Now I'm just waiting out the final days and am starting to fear a lawsuit from one or two collectors.
