Thanks so much for your quick reply! Should I, however, pay the collection agency the $15 a month I was planning to send monthly to the hospital? I mean, I don't have a problem paying the bill, but paying the collection agency is what I don't know if I should do or not? I mean, they are probably going to put it on my credit report anyway, if that haven't already done so, so should I pay them and just hope that the $15 a month will keep them from further collection efforts, or just do nothing and see what they do?
