Original Creditor

Live in Missouri.

I have an original creditor on my credit report that I disputed with the CRA as "not my account". They sent me a letter stating that the credit item "remains" with no explanation what so ever.

The next day I received a letter from the original creditor that I was disputing stating that they needed a letter of dispute to be able to investigate the account.

I searched the web pages provided, but did not see any letters for an Original Creditor. How can the CRA keep the account on file if the OC is requesting something from me to be able to validate for them? The CRA I am dealing with is Experian. I have cleaned up my trash on my other two CRA's and Experian is the only one that seems to be giving me a fit.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
