I have a friend who is trying to reduce monthly expenses. His credit card debt is like $15,000. He is looking into a consolidation company he found on the internet -- Credit Shield Counseling Service out of Ft. Lauderdale. They apparently are going to consolidate and reduce his interest rate to 10%. Has anybody heard of this company...any comments or other suggestions?
