Tricky little phagocytes, this is one of the 'advanced collections techniques' as taught by some unscrupulous (redundant???) collection agencies - make a parting statement in hope it is not denied, and spin it at a future date to initiate new collection activity.
Clever, huh? Too clever by half, as grandma was often wont to say, like most criminals.
Well, they pulled back. It pays to punch back, hard, often, and without relent. Get every one of them. WHere they seek comfort deny them same. Cut them off everywhere you can. Like tapeworms exposed to fresh air in the litterbox of their 'fascinating business', sooner or later they wither, and die.
