Well in Philadelphia unpaid parking tickets ARE treated the same as unpaid debts which CAN affect my ability to obtain credit which is why I am posting in this forum and therefore my argument is not without logic. In fact, the letter that I received regarding the tickets stated specifically that they were going to report the amount to the credit bureau and stated that this would affect my ability to obtain credit. I am sure there are other places that treat tickets the same, therefore if someone had the same experience, even if they were in another state, that would at least give me some sort of idea on how to handle this.

By the way the case mentioned is O'neill vs City of Phila
