National Check Control

I'm being threatened by National Check Control also. They are saying I owe $178.22 for a check in the amount of $48.22. They are telling my I will be picked up by my local sheriff's office. I don't mind paying the bill plus $25.00 returned check fee but $130.00 I don't think so. What does everyone think?
