Thanks for your reply. Most of my debts are now with 3rd party collectors\atty outside the state of Texas. In my understanding if they sued me they would have to retain an atty in Texas and this state doesn't allow garnishment. Plus because most of them are 3rd party I don't think they could verify the debt if I challanged them. With that said...I'm not as worried about being sued but I do want to start cleaning up my credit. Do you think its better to settle or go SOL???
