Posted by scott on May 13, 2003 at 12:49:59: i bounced a check at best buy , then i went too there store too pay them , they refused my payment , and told me too wait for a notice in the mail from equifax. so i did , i mailed my payment too equifax and thought ok all is well.
well two years later i get this threating letter form NATIONAL CHECK CONTROL so i called them and informed them that i payed equifax, then called equifax who at the time was bought out by sertigy
and they informed me that they never recieved payment from me so i have this guy claiming too be a manager at NAT CHECK CONTROL , he says his name is was Ron Goodman and he had 24 attouneys working for him and began too yell at me over the phone with THREATS of crim prosicution, CAN THEY PROSICUTE ME before i have a chance too research the money order company that i used too to pay the debt , acording too sertigy these guys ( NCC ) ARE BREAKING LAWS WITH THERE HARRASSING WAYS AND CRIMINAL THREATS AND SERTIGY TOLD ME THAT THERE RECIEVING COMPLAINTS FROM OTHERS AS WELL
