No..student loans stay around to haunt u till they are paid. They are not like another credit card company loaning u money. Its basically the govt loaning u money.
Have your taxes been garnished yet? Should have...Mine began within 2 years of default. Goood news though...THere is a REHAB program that you can join. It is through American student Assistance.
