CA & wrong account #

I got a letter from Hilco (who says to send payments to Nationwide Credit, which I don't understand) with the wrong account number. My name, address, and SSN are all correct, but half the account number doesn't match up. I called the OC and they verified that the account was sold to Hilco. DOLA was last year, and I live in CA. This cc (MBNA) had gone to 2 different CAs before they sold it to Hilco. What do you guys suggest I do? Thanks in advance!
