I actually worked for them when they first started their company in Atlanta. I also worked for NCO. They are both huge collection agencys. NCO is much bigger. I doubt they will sue you but if this is in stats they will just to force you to pay. They can tell whatever income your getting by doing property checks and running credit reports and if you are paying other creditors but not them they willknow about it. While you are on dissabilty there is not much they can do but if you have a car that is called real property which is an asset and they can lein it. If you are straight forward and honest and try to work it out I would. Ask for payments until you get on your feet then settle out. Don't run from it, it will come back later bigger and badder and bit you. If you don't have the money send them a letter in writing by fax and registered mail so the jerk collectors can't say they have no record of your payment. Explain your situation and tell them what you can afford. Also when the collectors who are big time jerks at Attention & LLC get rude be patient. Do not cuss and tell them your recording for your records. Then call back and talk to a manager and tell them your situation and they WILL WORK WITH YOU.
