No "letter" from MBNA, if that's all they send, is going to be proper validation. They have to produce a contract with your signature on it AND a FULL accounting of the amount allegedly owed - from day one - showing ALL charges, payments, fees, etc. If you don't get ALL of that, they will NOT have validated properly.
