Arkansas' 2 year limit on time for legal action to collect on medical bills is pretty much the same in all the other States. You VERY rarely see someone being sued by a HC provider, and I have NEVER seen a CA filing suit on a medical collection. However, this "medical SOL" does not make it easier to get these accounts off reports. And, if the account is actually VALID, the HIPAA letter cannot be used unless the bill is paid.
