Well.. MBNA uses MANY collection agencies, though their main one seems to be NCO. They also use Portfolio Recover and the dreaded Walpoff and Abramson. W&A are by far the worst. If you get any letters from them be prepared for a very hard time. MBNA also uses arbitration, also thru W&A, so you could get hit with that, which is bad news.

Hard to say for 3K. Collectively I owe them more than that and its been over a year and all I've ever gotten are the usual noisesome letters from collection agencies.
