i live in florida and im about to file chapter 7 in the next 2 weeks as i can come up with more money to do so . i own a home with only 5000 equity in it i know can save my home from what ive read my credit card debt is 35000. and no way i get out so bk is the only answer . my question is in about 4 - 8 months im hoping and believe ill be getting a settlement from an auto accident of my guess is about 7500. so will i lose that settlement if i file in 2 weeks or how would that work ? i thankyou
