Northland, on finding out they'd bought a bum steer, sloughed it off to Allied for pennies on the dollar.. they don't care that its an invalid account, they dumped it.. Allied will dump it to someone else once you fax THEM the settlement letter. This can go on for years. All you can do, unfortunately, is keep faxing the settlement letter to the next CA in line until it finally gets archived somewhere.

You need to check your credit report to make sure none of these latest tricksters have re-aged the debt.. Allied is notorious for it.
