I'm inquiring about a debt buyer who used the above captioned cases as a defense for stating that they were not required to provide more than a computer printout of a final statement on a bill as proper validation of a debt.
They're argument is that these cases prove that copies of bills or other detailed evidence of a debt are not required for validation of the debt.
I was wondering if others have reviewed these cases and would know of other cases as a valid argument against these cases for the courts to rule in ones favor for requesting proper validation.
Currently I'm in the middle of a countersuit against a debt buyer and my attorney is reviewing this argument before filing a brief to the judge prior to a ruling on my suit.
Any and all speedy responses will be greatly appreciated as we only have 10 days to file additional arguments. Thanks in advance!
