I also do debt collections. However, I have also been on the other side of the scenario. Your lack of tactfullness and unprofessionalism blows me away. Bad things sometimes happen to GOOD people. Sometimes they have sick children and all their money goes towards keeping them alive. Some people just get caught up in the credit card game. Credit card companies prey on people. Like the "Re-establish your credit after bankruptcy" tactics, then they charge 22% interest. Especially with the current economy, people are desperate for financial help and it's easier everyday to get overextended. You are probably someone who is just out of high school or college, and you may even have a degree, however you are doing debt collections making maybe $8 or $9 an hour (from your writing, I doubt either one). I am a credit manager. I assure you I make more than you and I TOO have had financial trouble. So, unless you have something supportive to say to people who are just trying to obtain help, stay off the forums.
