By way of a PS - Florida seems to be an experimental 'killing field' upon which the banker-thugs and collector scumbags have been given carte blanche with the winking approval of Judge Cracker to violate debtors every which way. But only with the tacit cooperation of the debtor. The courts are a sick joke. Many have implemented sham 'mediation' programs in which a gassy, parsonical banker-retiree tries to coerce you into making damaging admissions of indebtedness for his creditor pals.
Best way to play their game is by going where they cannot, the move dreaded by bullies everywhere. Fight back. Write letters to the agencies, check out all the resources on this board, cost the collector scum money. They play a high-stakes game of collecting on every hundredth target and their cash meter isn't supposed to run backwards. See that it does. Punch these cretins back hard and frequently using all legal means at your disposal.
Perhaps even as thick as they are they will get the idea that you are more trouble than you are worth. Bash them. It's all predators understand.
