Tell your friends to send Why Chat's SOL letter stating collection is time-barred. If they did decide to request validation instead, tell the CA they need full documentation of the repo and sale of the vehicle and proof that both were done in accordance of state law. That should send them running. Be sure to send any correspondence CRRR.
