Yes we bought the house together from the get-go.
Actually used funds from sale of previous home to buy this one. So there should be no question on that part.

I have read the statutes mostly chapters 95 dealing with "Tenancy by entirety or for life and 108 Husband and Wife Relationship, property rights. What I understood was that the only way they would mess with the entirety is when it involves child support.

After talking to the two local BK Lawyers I began to wonder if I was mis-interpreting the statutes.

In reading 108 especially 108.510 I began to wonder if there was something we needed to do or file extra. Our papers say Mr. xxx and Mrs. xxx husband and wife. If we need to add something to our paperwork I wonder if its too late to do it now that we have been sued. I swear I read somewhere in the statute that Oregon abolished (I think) Tenancy in Common for husband and wife to the Tenancy by entirety. Like I said the information I got from the two lawyers really shook me up and got me to wondering if I was mis-reading the statutes.

Thanks WhyChat hope your having a wonderful weekend!
