Sherman Acquisitions a sleazeball collection company. If you truly have no idea what the debt is then you want to send a letter to the CRA demanding they investigate. Collection scumbuckets will do anything, placing false entries on credit reports is all in a mornings 'work' as they see it, and it is against federal law.
Open a file on these criminals, send a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission and your State AG also. Sample letters for all are to be found on this website. You may find the complaint is removed quickly, you may also be able to sue these greedy swine for their smartness.
Get them, bash them with every legal means available to you, and you have many. Your influence counts, use it.
